QOTD

You know what? Yes, I have changed. I'm not as nice as I used to be, because I don't want to get used or walked over. I don't trust everyone and tell them my secrets, because behind every fake smile is a backstabbing bitch. I distance myself from people because in the end, they're only going to leave. I have changed because I have realized that I'm the only person I can depend on.

temptation

Being a pregnant lady doesn't discourage me to shop.  Well, after gotten beat off by the endless baby stuffs, Mommy needs something for herself too! I am thinking to get myself a new shoes and/or bag. Thank God my feet don't get swollen during this pregnancy. In some cases, women tend to increase 1-2 size of their shoes size while pregnant (I'd be totally going bananas over this!) Lucky me, I'm still comfortable in my own shoes. Despite the fact that size 36.5 is much more comfortable for me nowadays compared to my usual 36. (My shoes size range from 36 - 36.5)  But now I have to put aside any high heels or stiletto for that matters (even though I'm dying to have YSL Tribute and Valentino rockstud). Seriously, if I can have one shoe style throughout my life, it would be YSL Tribute! All colors, materials, heights in size 36 please :) They have a wide range of color, height, and material selection. Trust me they're all yummosss!!  Back to re...

32 weeks!!

32 weeks :) I can't hardly believe that my pregnancy is 32 weeks already!! Where do the time flies? Maybe because I'm still staying active myself and tried to enjoy every second of it. There were down times, I have to admit. But mostly, it was a FUN experience.  Honestly, throughout these 32 weeks, I didn't feel a thing that bother me. EXCEPT, well. I hate the scale! I've gained about 11 kgs and I still have 6 weeks or so to go.. I guess I'll gain about 3 or 4 more kilos until I give birth. That's A LOT. *le sigh* and also my mood swing. And not forget to mention, I am as clumsy as ever. I keep forgetting about things and it started get down to mr.D 's nerves. LOL  Step aside from that, I am enjoying my wiggle wiggle baby boo companion... He seems can't stop moving inside. I talked to him from time to time. Like, "Vale, it's bath time..." or like, "I'm about to eat my favorite food, kick me if you like it too...

newborn shopping list

Cray cray.  Never knew it would be sooooo long and soooo wallet wrenching!  Our "tradition" don't allow pregnant woman shopping her baby needs before 7th month. Why? I don't know exactly why, but maybe for safety reason. Because miscarriage mostly happens in first trimester and they don't consider second trimester as safe as the third. Logically, the tradition prevent disappointment from early miscarriage. I believe we all don't wanna have all things for our baby if in the end we have to lose it. Anyhow, it's only an ancient belief, some follow the rules and some don't. But I prefer to follow it.  Hence, by the time I passed this 7th month, I was so excited to shop Vale's needs!  Oh well, but where do I start? As a first time mom, it's really confusing. But I genuinely  thanked every baby shop for providing the "newborn shopping list" to begin with. Even though I was still confused. I mean, whoa.. That MUCH?! And......

TURNING 26!

twenty six 2 July 2013 Thank God for blessing me MUCH more than I deserve. Never thought that my silly high school pranks has finally come to realization, one step at a time. I mean, I was joking when I said, "I'd be married by 25 and having two kids before 30". But boy, how we have to be careful what we said cos we just might get it!  If one asked what I really want on my birthday, I'd be clueless. I'm at my happiest point in life and I couldn't ask for more but thank God for every blessings.  I've had the best day in my life, surrounded with people I love and of course, my lil boo boo inside the womb. Thank you all for the wishes :) Many happy returns back at ya!  pregnancy so far thanks doll cake #1 xoxo with lil sissy! cake #2  thank you from the bottom of my heart:)

Konichiwa Japan... (day 2)

Day 2: Osaka   Udah pada baca kan posting gue sebelumnya? Yak... Lanjut kakak... Jadi setelah sampai Kansai Airport , tanpa ba bi bu lagi kami langsung lari-lari buat ngantri di imigrasi (udah gak sabar ceritanya).. Mr D biasanya suka tegang kalo di imigrasi, soalnya dia pernah punya pengalaman buruk ditanya-tanya ma petugas (maklum bhs inggris nya payah :D). Dia udah lirik-lirik gue aja, gimana kalo ditanya macem-macem. Gue bilang, gpp.. Bilang aja I'm on vacation for a week . Lagian gue udah tulisin juga hotel-hotel tempat kita nginap. Eh ternyata..... Petugas imigrasinya RAMAH banget! Gak banyak ditanya ini itu (mungkin gara-gara form kami udah lengkap jug...

phe-nanny-nomenal

Here in Indonesia's two major cities, Jakarta and Bandung, we often stumbled upon a young family of four  six (husband, wife, and two kids, two nannies).  Not one, but two nannies in tow! One child = one nanny. And their parents are busy with their smartphones. No joke guys, I've seen those sights many many times.  If previously I really didn't give a shit about that, now it's different cos I'm pregnant. I began to pay attention to those things. Well.. I couldn't help but wonder, is baby sitting THAT hard? Till you have to hire somebody else to take care of your kid? The case would be different if both parent are working. So maybe they don't have enough time to take care their own kid. (Tho I still prefer to seek help from my mom or mom in law instead of nanny.) BUT if you're a housewife, why don't you take care of your kid by yourself? That make me wonder. Well, to be objective, it's perfectly fine to hire a "helper". But w...
