Oh December

After many posts about happiness as newlywed, we finally reached our first milestone (which is not necessarily an anniversary, innit?) We were facing our very first obstacle in marriage life. Hubby says that we live on earth, not heaven. Don't be upset if there are things that won't live up your expectations. Everything won't be perfectly beautiful. Because this is life. Oh when the storm came, I was unprepared and it's inevitable. I didn't expect it'd be sooner than later. I mean, our marriage is barely a month old. It's nothing about our relationship really. There's a problem with our house. Thanks to my handy hubby, he acted fast and with helping hands from several people, we managed to get it done in three days. Chaotic days were long gone. In a more cheerful note we also have a very pleasant news nearing this end of year!! Soon to come xx Bloggie will be the first to know! All I can think of now is how thankful I am. 2012, what a year. What a ...

heaven..

My teacher once asked me about my description about heaven. I answered that heaven is a very beautiful, peaceful place.. where there's nothing but happiness. It's the closest place to God. But in order to get there, we have to die first and we have to act kind and all positive things to people around us. I was blabbing about "my version" of heaven until she interrupted me and said, look over your heart, look over your family. Is it heaven? Do you feel heavenly? We can create our heaven. Don't bother to die cos everybody has their own heaven. I stopped for a minute or two to contemplate it. Yes indeed. She's right. I think I've read or hear somewhere about "hell on earth, heaven on earth". It's us that creating it. It's up to us and how we behave.  Having a little family now, I realize that I have to create a "heaven" in our house. Do we able to create it? Some says woman plays an important role. Man might give her a...

the wedding

I was so thrilled when Andre from Studio Nine photography text me the other night that some of our photos were up in their Facebook page. I immediately grab my laptop and stared on it one by one. And boy, they're beautiful. Oh please, it's not because there's me all over it haha. I love candid photos and the team captured every moment very well. One of my favorite photo is where I wore pink kimono (with Mrs Dieter caption on the back of it) and staring at the church. The room where I stayed happen to have that "church view". Oh and it was the church where our holy matrimony held later that afternoon. So sweet innit. To cut long story short, here's the very first sneak peek of our wedding back in November. There will be tons photos upcoming fo sho.. and my blog defo will be the first to know LOL. For more photos please proceed to the link above :) Well about the details... I'll spill it on the next post!

Misty

I stood still at our very own dining room few hours ago. The rain was pouring down outside. Ella Fitzgerald singing beautifully through the speakers that my hubby installed it by himself. So our tiny dining room turned out to be a nice, cozy cafe. Or so that he called. I recalled us years back. Never ever imagine we'll be in where we are today. Never ever crossed in our mind, that we actually could afford a house of our own. Again, God's plans worked truthfully toward us. He never late nor early, for He made everything beautiful in His time. We might faced countless thunderstorms and turbulence along the way. But when we able to see roses instead of thorns, we came to realization that everything happens for a reason. Our love grow stronger ever since. Then Ella continue her singing, "On my own, When I wander through this wonderland alone, Never knowing my right foot from my left My hat from my glove I'm too misty, and too much in love. Too misty, And t...

"Remembering The Day I Met Amy Winehouse"

How I wish it was me. Boo. Lyndsey Parker who lucky enough to witnessed Amy at her best. After reading it, I feel I have to repost the article. I copy it straight away from here . First of all, please do enjoy the SXSW performance that Lyndsey talking about: Love you Amy :) Never a day goes by when I don't find myself listening, watching or humming some Amy Winehouse. And I know it'll be that way forever :)  ______________________________________________________________ Back in March 2007, Yahoo! Music went to South By Southwest, the annual Austin music festival where so many up-and-coming artists flock to kickstart their careers in America, and booked a studio where SXSW 2007's buzziest buzz acts came through to perform for the Y! cameras. All sorts of impressive musicians stopped by--Mika, Peter Bjorn & John, Albert Hammond Jr. of the Strokes, Brandi Carlile. But the moment I remember most from that whirlwind weekend is, unsurprisingly, when th...
