Once I grow up,...

Jetting off to junior high slash high school, the sentence "Once I grow up I will...." was often heard between conversation. I was born in an environment with the thought that women destined to be a lovely wife and mother. So mostly girls dream about marriage, her prince charming that will later be her husband, and things like that. But as we move forward, our mindset will develop. We meet certain people, go to new places. Then without we even realize, we become a totally different person than we were then. As matter of fact, I am circulating in the "once I grow up" phase now. How time flies. If we used to "hope your dreams come true" at birthday cards, I'm finding it a bit odd now. That's why I always write, "many happy returns" recently.. Let's admit it, we're in MID twenties! Soon (I mean real soon) we'll be entering late twenties, early thirties, the big four, ... and so on. Anyway, I can't say that my drea

10 things

A friend came up with a question that she thinks quintessential regarding a relationship. She asked if I can write down at least 10 things I love about my other half. It's not like he's handsome, hot, and all. But it's more like whether he has the quality to be a husband/father. I was insdisputable answered, of course I can. Even more than 10 I guess. It's unquestionable the easiest task to do.  She got the question from a marriage course she attended with his fiance. In the end, she could only wrote 5 out of the requirement. It shocked her and she thought it was a big issue.. She's getting doubtful about whether she should continue the relationship to the higher level or step backwards.  I honestly can't make further comment about this, I only advised her to contemplating about their relationship all over again. Never get married for wrong reasons.. As it will lead to one and only destination, hell. And trust me, you don't want to raise your kids

my musical soulmate..

Above all many differences between my significant other and I, thank God we have at least one thing in common: OUR MUSICAL TASTE. It's still cracked me up whenever I remember one event in our relationship many many years ago. I think it happened in our first trimester... One day he showed up at my house and gave me a CD. "Wow" I thought. This guy knew my much interest in music by buying me an ORIGINAL CD (which was rare then). Then I immediately opened the case just to found some Chinese or Korean boybands in the cover. I read it, "5566". Like "lima lima enam enam" or "Five five six six" and I thought, "who the hell.... where on earth do they belong?"  But then I decently told him, "Oh that's so sweet of you... Do these lima lima enam enam boys can even sing?" We played it and I couldn't stop laughing. There's no way I'd caught dead with this kind of CD stuck in my player.  Poor Dieter. His face turned r

I've previously wanted to arrange a garage sale, but because I haven't find a proper place so I decided to make another blog. I made it to sell my (both) new and preloved items such as clothes, bags, shoes, or even make up. As I'll move to our new house within months, so I've been doing closet cleaning throughout this time. What are you waiting for? Go Go Go...!  Who knows you'd be the one who will adopt my babies xx P.S some proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation .
