as days go by, so does my life.. I stated May somehow a memorable month in my whole life. Seriously. Too many things happened on May 2010. It all started when I got a phone call from someone on early May, he said that I won the contest that I joined a month before. I cried a happy tears, knowing that my essay won that competition. I couldn't believe what I hear. On the same day, 11PM for exact, I got another phone call that delivered a very bad news: my grandma had a STROKE attack. GOD! How could I receive 1 VERY good news & another VERY bad news at the same time? Me & my parents went to the hospital as fast as we could. When I met my Nan, I burst into tears. But this time, a sad tears. This is the person that have a big effect in my life, especially in my childhood.. She took care of me & my sister, taught me many things, and got us closer to God. When your relationship has reach the magic number SEVEN, do u think u ALREADY know about him? Well, think again ladies. Along the way, I thought I knew all about him, but turns out, after all these major ups n downs for 7 years, I think I've just known him about 70%. That means, 10% each year. I knew general things like what he likes what he doesn't like, who's friends who's not, what songs he listen to, what movies he interested to, what style & color he love, etc etc. The rest 30%? Last May, me & all my friends attended our best friend wedding party at Bali. We flew to Bali on May 11 (the party is on May 15). We're having so much fun there.. Lots of experience, laughs, even there are tears & cat fight involved too. charlotte, samantha, carrie, miranda I was so thrilled when I read somewhere last year, that Michael Patrick King will make another sequel of Sex and The City movie. I hooked up with SATC (the series) years ago, but then, I was too young to know about what they discussed so I watched it every once in a while. And when HBO started to broadcast it again last year, when I "old" enough to know their issues, I was totally hooked up. The stories are original, beyond expectation. The 4 characters from the story are Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), Samantha Jones (Kim Catrall), and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon). Although it seems my character look a lot like Charlotte, but I'm a huge fan of Carrie. She's a writer of "sex & the city" column at NY newspaper, and she journeys with her 3 BFF to find true love and how they struggle in a relationship & life. I was born in Indonesia almost 23 years ago. My Dad is a Chinese and my Mom is Indonesian. So no wonder, I don't have Chinese eyes & skin. At first, I don't mind about it at all. Some called my skin is exotic, some hated it, and some don't give a shit. As for me, I was wondering why I'm different from my friends at elementary school, but then I found out & I don't give a shit. I was perfectly fine with my own skin until one day I applied my American visa and realized how BAD our image as Indonesian in American's eyes. We described as "alien" who want to travel to America to be a "smuggler". Thanks to bad publicity such as terrorist thingy. Not once, not twice, but several bombs have exploded in Bali, in Jakarta, etc. In short, my visa was rejected. I feel terrible to see how bad Indonesian in the world's eyes.. Despite our rich natures, Indonesia have a lot troubles inside. I don't have to write this sensitive issue one by one...
